Downed behavior
When downed, the Panzer devolves into larval form and attacks enemies with quills that deal Viral damage. It regains true form after 30 seconds. The quill damage increases from 15 at rank 0 to 60 at rank 3.
Fit and related precept
It is a standard Panzer Vulpaphyla precept with Penjaga polarity and base drain 0. Viral Quills is a separate Panzer precept whose listed effect launches six quills at enemies within 20 meters and can add a spore when the target is affected by Viral status. That attack behavior is distinct from Devolution’s downed-state transformation.
Rank investment
The precept has ranks 0 through 3. Rank raises the listed Viral damage per quill while the 30-second return interval remains unchanged. The listed rank 2 to 3 step costs 120 Endo and 5,796 credits; weigh that damage increase against your other rank priorities.
