Understand Flawed Parry
Useful when…
- Gain a block-triggered chance to open enemies to Finisher Attacks.
- Use the flawed version when considering its lower stat and standard-slot placement.
Effect and trigger
After the Warframe blocks melee, Flawed Parry can open enemies to Finisher Attacks. Its chance rises from 12% at rank 0 to 48% at rank 3. It does not describe a passive opening from ordinary melee attacks.
Slot and comparison
Flawed Parry is a flawed standard melee mod with Vazarin polarity and base drain 2. The standard Parry comparison reaches 96% and uses a melee Exilus slot, but the two are explicitly incompatible. Amalgam Organ Shatter and Auger Strike instead list critical or damage-stat effects, not this block-triggered finisher chance.
Rank investment
It ranks from 0 through 3, with higher ranks increasing the chance to open enemies after a block. The listed rank 2 to 3 step costs 40 Endo and 1,932 credits for the increase from 36% to 48%. Consider that cost in light of the limited maximum chance and the block requirement.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The trigger requires blocking melee, and the flawed version tops out at 48%.
- It is incompatible with standard Parry.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting finisher openings without first blocking melee.
- Trying to equip it with standard Parry despite the listed incompatibility.
