What does Pistol Gambit do?
Pistol Gambit adds critical chance: +20% at rank 0, +80% at rank 3, and +120% at rank 5. These are mod bonuses, not a statement of final critical chance for every pistol.
Slot, polarity, and rank investment
This Common standard pistol mod has Madurai polarity, base drain 4, and a maximum rank of 5. Its final listed upgrade step costs 160 Endo and 7,728 Credits. Rank 3 offers +80% critical chance; consider that partial investment against the full-rank bonus and available fusion resources.
Other critical chance choices
Flawed Pistol Gambit reaches +60% and is a Flawed variant. Primed Pistol Gambit lists +187% and has a different rank structure. Creeping Bullseye lists +200% critical chance with a -20% Fire Rate penalty. These are distinct options, and Pistol Gambit is explicitly incompatible with the listed Flawed, Primed, and Creeping Bullseye variants.
