What it does
At rank 0, the squad receives +25% Pistol Ammo Recovery; at rank 3, +100%; and at rank 5, +150%. This is an ammo recovery bonus, not a stated increase to pistol damage or maximum ammo.
Slot and investment
This is an Uncommon Aura Mod with Naramon polarity, a maximum rank of 5, and base drain -2. Rank it further when the larger squad ammo recovery bonus is useful: the listed rank 4-to-5 step costs 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits. Its listed drops are Duviri/Endless Tier 1 and Tier 3 on Normal difficulty; each entry shows a 0.67 chance.
Choosing an ammo aura
Rifle Scavenger, Shotgun Scavenger, and Sniper Scavenger have the same listed aura slot, polarity, maximum rank, and +150% recovery at maximum rank, but each names a different weapon ammo type. Match the aura to the ammo type you want to recover; these effects are not interchangeable across weapon categories.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Uses the Aura slot for pistol ammo recovery rather than another aura effect.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not expect the bonus to apply to rifle, shotgun, or sniper ammo.
