Understand Prey of Dynar

What the augment changes
Prey of Dynar is a Voruna mod that augments Shroud of Dynar. At every listed rank it increases an enemy’s Damage Vulnerability by 50%. Using Fang of Raksh on that enemy increases spread radius: +75% at rank 0, +125% at rank 2, and +150% at rank 3.
Rank and slot considerations
The Rare mod has Zenurik polarity, a standard slot, and maximum rank 3. The listed step costs are 30, 60, and 120 Endo, with 1,449, 2,898, and 5,796 Credits. Rank increases the spread-radius bonus, while the 50% vulnerability increase is unchanged across the displayed ranks. Consider that distinction when deciding whether to max it.
Comparison with another Voruna augment
Ulfrun’s Endurance is a separate augment for Ulfrun’s Descent: during Ulfrun’s attack, enemies that die from Slash Status within 20 meters restore Voruna’s charges. It supports a different ability and condition, so it does not provide Prey of Dynar’s vulnerability or Fang of Raksh spread-radius effects.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The 50% vulnerability effect does not increase with the listed ranks; the Fang of Raksh spread-radius bonus does.
- The spread-radius increase requires using Fang of Raksh on the enemy affected by Shroud of Dynar.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Using Fang of Raksh on a different enemy and expecting the stated linked spread bonus.
- Ranking it for a stronger vulnerability effect, which is listed as 50% at all displayed ranks.
