Understand Primed Flow
Useful when…
- Increasing maximum Energy on a Warframe build.
- Comparing a high-rank capacity mod with Flow when investment and available mod capacity matter.
Effect and fit
Primed Flow grants +17% Energy Max at rank 0, +101% at rank 5, and +185% at rank 10. It is a standard Warframe mod with Naramon polarity, base drain 4, and maximum rank 10. Maximum Energy is capacity; the listed effect does not itself say that Energy is restored or that abilities cost less.
Ranking and capacity tradeoffs
Higher ranks provide a larger Energy Max bonus, but later fusion steps require much more investment. Listed examples include 1,280 Endo and 61,824 Credits from rank 5 to 6, and 20,480 Endo and 989,184 Credits from rank 9 to 10. Choose a rank that fits both the desired capacity and the Warframe’s mod capacity; it uses a standard slot, not an Exilus slot.
Related mods and exclusions
Flow is the standard counterpart, listed at up to +100% Energy Max and maximum rank 5; Flawed Flow reaches +50% at rank 3. Primed Flow explicitly excludes Flow and Flawed Flow, so treat them as alternatives. Archon Flow has the same listed maximum Energy bonus as Primed Flow and also describes a chance for enemies killed by Cold Abilities to drop an Energy Orb, with a 10-second cooldown; it is a distinct option with a conditional effect, not an additional Flow mod to equip alongside Primed Flow.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- More maximum Energy does not itself restore Energy or reduce ability costs.
- High ranks are expensive to fuse and use standard mod capacity.
- The listed Flow and Flawed Flow versions are explicitly incompatible with Primed Flow.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Confusing maximum Energy with Energy regeneration or reduced ability cost.
- Equipping Primed Flow with Flow or Flawed Flow despite their stated incompatibility.
- Paying the highest fusion costs without needing the additional capacity.
