Effect and compatibility
It converts Secondary ammo pickups to 8% of Ammo Pick Up at rank 0, 50% at rank 5, and 92% at rank 10. It is a standard shotgun mod with Naramon polarity and listed base drain 0. It cannot be equipped with Shotgun Ammo Mutation.
Rank and slot tradeoff
The mod has 10 ranks. Listed examples cost 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits from rank 0 to 1, 1,280 Endo and 61,824 Credits from rank 5 to 6, and 20,480 Endo and 989,184 Credits from rank 9 to 10. Although base drain is 0, it still occupies a standard shotgun mod slot.
Alternatives with different effects
Shotgun Ammo Mutation reaches 50% conversion at rank 5 and is listed as an Exilus mod with base drain 2. Accelerated Blast grants Fire Rate and Puncture; Amalgam Shotgun Barrage grants Fire Rate and Revive Speed. Those are different purposes, not ammo-conversion equivalents. The conversion percentage does not describe pickup frequency or guarantee a particular supply rate.
