Understand Primed Slip Magazine
Useful when…
- Increasing magazine capacity on a compatible pistol.
- Building around sustained firing where reduced reload frequency is useful.
Effect and rank scaling
The mod adds magazine capacity: +5% at rank 0, +30% at rank 5, and +55% at rank 10. These are the listed mod bonuses; they do not specify a weapon’s resulting magazine size or reload behavior.
Fit and compatibility
It is a standard-slot pistol mod with Naramon polarity and base drain 4. It is incompatible with Slip Magazine and Flawed Slip Magazine, so those cannot be equipped alongside it. Its capacity bonus competes for a mod slot with other pistol effects; for example, Accelerated Isotope offers Radiation damage and fire rate instead, with Madurai polarity.
Rank investment
It can be fused from rank 0 to 10. The listed example costs are 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits for rank 0→1, 1,280 Endo and 61,824 Credits for 5→6, and 20,480 Endo and 989,184 Credits for 9→10. The listed bonus rises from +30% at rank 5 to +55% at rank 10, so consider whether that additional capacity is worth the later rank-up costs for your use.
Alternatives and practical limits
Slip Magazine is the standard alternative listed here, with +30% capacity at its maximum rank 5; Flawed Slip Magazine reaches +10% at rank 3. Both share Naramon polarity and are incompatible with Primed Slip Magazine. A capacity bonus is less relevant if magazine size is not a constraint in your use, and this mod does not itself add damage or fire rate.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Uses a standard pistol mod slot for magazine capacity rather than another pistol effect.
- Later ranks require substantially higher listed example costs.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Trying to equip it together with Slip Magazine or Flawed Slip Magazine, which are explicitly incompatible.
- Treating the listed capacity percentage as a final magazine size or as a damage increase.
- Assuming the rank 9→10 example cost applies to every rank-up.
