Effect and conditions
This standard Citrine augment changes Prismatic Gem so it attaches to the free-moving companion. It also grants a passive duration increase: +20% at rank 0, +40% at rank 2, and +50% at rank 3. It has Zenurik polarity and base drain 6.
Rank investment
Prismatic Companion has three ranks. The listed rank 0-to-1 step costs 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits, rank 1-to-2 costs 60 Endo and 2,898 Credits, and rank 2-to-3 costs 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits. Ranking increases the duration bonus, while the companion attachment effect is already stated at rank 0.
Different Citrine augment
Recrystalize modifies Crystallize: enemies killed by crystalline growths stagger and spread crystals to enemies within 16 meters. It addresses Crystallize's enemy effects, not Prismatic Gem's attachment or duration.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Uses a standard Citrine mod slot and base drain 6.
- The duration bonus scales across ranks; the companion attachment is present at rank 0.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not confuse Prismatic Gem with Crystallize; Recrystalize affects the latter.
- Do not assume the Gem attachment requires rank 3; it is listed at rank 0.
