Understand Rift Haven
Useful when…
- Restore health to allies while they are banished to the Rift.
- Use Banish as a support tool when the augment slot is worth the healing effect.
Effect and recipient
Rift Haven is a Banish Augment. At rank 0 it restores 10% of an ally’s maximum health each second; at rank 2 it restores 20%; at rank 3 it restores 25%. Its stated recipient is allies banished to the Rift. The effect is tied to that condition, not a general healing effect for all allies.
Slot and investment
This Rare Limbo mod has Zenurik polarity, a standard slot, base drain 6, and maximum rank 3. The listed rank 2 to 3 fusion step costs 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits. Higher ranks increase the healing rate, so consider the resource cost against how often you use Banish to support allies. It occupies a standard mod slot that could otherwise hold another Limbo mod.
Different Limbo augment purposes
Rift Torrent instead adds damage per enemy affected by Rift Surge while Limbo is in the Rift, and Cataclysmic Continuum extends Cataclysm by one second per enemy killed. Those augments support different abilities and conditions; they are not substitutes for Rift Haven’s healing effect. Choose based on whether the build uses Banish for ally support, Rift Surge for damage, or Cataclysm duration extension.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Healing applies to allies banished to the Rift, so its benefit depends on using Banish on allies.
- It uses a standard mod slot and requires ranks for the full 25% per-second effect.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the heal applies to allies who are not banished to the Rift.
- Confusing its Banish healing with the damage or duration effects of other Limbo augments.
