Understand Shepherd
Useful when…
- Increase Health and Armor for squad companions.
Effect and beneficiaries
Shepherd increases the squad’s Companion Health and Armor. At rank 0 the bonuses are +50 Health and +30 Armor; rank 3 gives +200 Health and +120 Armor; rank 5 gives +300 Health and +180 Armor. Its stated beneficiaries are Companions, not the Warframes themselves.
Aura slot and ranking
This Rare Aura has Vazarin polarity, base drain −2, and a maximum rank of 5. Listed rank examples cost 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits for rank 0 to 1, 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits for rank 2 to 3, and 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits for rank 4 to 5. Consider the higher ranks when the companion bonuses matter enough to justify the investment.
Choosing an Aura purpose
Dreamer’s Bond lists squad Energy and Health regeneration, Physique increases squad maximum Health, and Rejuvenation grants squad Health regeneration. These address player resources or health, while Shepherd’s stated bonus goes to Companions. Select according to which beneficiary and benefit your setup needs.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The benefit is directed at Companions rather than Warframe Health or Armor.
- Uses the squad Aura choice.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Reading the bonus as applying to Warframes rather than Companions.
- Choosing it for player Health regeneration or maximum Health.
