Understand Sprint Boost
Useful when…
- Choose it when improving squad running speed is more useful than another Aura effect.
- Use it in an Aura slot; its Naramon polarity matches its stated Aura configuration.
What does it do?
The effect applies to the squad. At rank 0 it grants +2.5% Sprint Speed, rising to +10% at rank 3 and +15% at rank 5. The listed effect is specifically Sprint Speed; it does not describe a bonus to other movement actions.
Is ranking it worthwhile?
It can be ranked from 0 to 5. The supplied fusion examples show increasing step costs: ranks 0→1 cost 20 Endo and 966 Credits, 2→3 cost 80 Endo and 3,864 Credits, and 4→5 cost 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits. Rank it further when the squad-wide speed increase matters to your setup; rank 0 already provides a smaller bonus.
How does it compare with other Auras?
These Auras serve different purposes. Swift Momentum benefits heavy attack wind-up and melee combo duration; Dead Eye boosts sniper rifle damage; Dreamer's Bond provides energy and health regeneration. Sprint Boost is the movement choice among these examples, rather than a direct substitute for their specialized effects.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Its benefit is limited to Sprint Speed; it does not add the weapon damage or regeneration described by the compared Auras.
- Higher ranks cost progressively more Endo and Credits.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the bonus as applying to movement actions beyond the stated Sprint Speed effect.
- Assuming the squad-wide bonus is a weapon damage or recovery increase.
