Understand Synergized Prospectus
Useful when…
- Use for Hound attacks that can seek and hit multiple enemies in groups.
- Rank it when you want the larger area and more numerous, longer-reaching ricochets.
Spark and ricochet behavior
At maximum rank, the spark seeks an enemy within 30 m, deals 300 Electricity damage in a 10 m radius, then can ricochet up to 7 times, seeking the nearest enemy within 30 m. At rank 0, its area is 1 m, damage is 50, and it can ricochet up to 2 times with a 5 m seeking range. Rank 3 provides 200 damage in a 6 m radius and up to 5 ricochets with a 20 m seeking range. The initial target-seeking range remains listed as 30 m at each of those ranks.
Compatibility and excluded precepts
This is a standard Hound precept with Penjaga polarity, base drain 0, and five ranks. Its named incompatible precepts are Focused Prospectus and Aerial Prospectus, so it cannot be used alongside either of those. Ranking requires increasing fusion resources; the final listed step costs 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits.
Other Hound precept effects
Aerial Prospectus launches a beacon at an enemy within 27 m for an Orbital Strike dealing 1,200 Blast damage in a 7 m radius. Focused Prospectus fires a beam dealing 900 Heat damage over 4.5 seconds. Diversified Denial creates three Specters for 30 seconds; each deals 85% of the Hound's damage and cannot use abilities. These provide distinct attack or companion effects, and the two named Prospectus options are explicitly incompatible with Synergized Prospectus.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Ricochet count, seeking distance, damage, and radius are limited at lower ranks.
- It is incompatible with Focused Prospectus and Aerial Prospectus.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming it can be equipped alongside Focused Prospectus or Aerial Prospectus.
- Using maximum-rank damage and area values to describe the lower-rank effect.
