Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin · Infusion
Fire infusion
Fire infusion adds Fire damage and scaling while reducing physical damage and Strength and Dexterity scaling.
How it works
Firedrake Stone is the listed infusion material. For previously uninfused, un-upgraded scalable weapons, the source reports an initial C Fire scaling grade and a 30.5% reduction to base Physical damage. Strength and Dexterity scaling fall by one or two letter grades. The passage also notes that weapons already carrying Fire damage receive more added Fire damage than weapons without it.
