Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin · Infusion

Magic infusion

Magic infusion adds Magic damage and scaling while reducing physical damage and Strength and Dexterity scaling.

How it works

The infusion table identifies Faintstone as the material. For previously uninfused, un-upgraded scalable weapons, the source reports an initial C Magic scaling grade and a 30.5% reduction to base Physical damage, alongside added base Magic damage. Strength and Dexterity scaling decrease by one or two letter grades. The source says weapons already carrying Magic damage can receive more added Magic damage than weapons without it.
