Understand Golden Troupe
Useful when…
- A build centered on Elemental Skill damage.
- A Skill damage source that continues while its character is off-field.
How do its bonuses work?
Two pieces increase Elemental Skill DMG by 20%. Four pieces add another 25% Skill DMG. In addition, while the wearer is off-field, Elemental Skill DMG increases by a further 25%; that extra off-field effect is cleared 2 seconds after the character takes the field. Thus, the off-field condition matters to the additional 25% bonus, not to the listed two-piece or ordinary four-piece Skill bonuses.
When should you consider it?
It fits damage plans that rely on Elemental Skills, especially when their damage can occur while the wearer is off-field. If the wearer spends time on-field, the additional off-field bonus ends 2 seconds after taking the field, though the two-piece and ordinary four-piece Skill bonuses remain described without that condition. The set does not list bonuses for Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, or Burst damage.
How do the listed comparisons differ?
A Day Carved From Rising Winds grants 18% ATK at two pieces and a timed ATK increase after several kinds of hit; the CRIT Rate addition depends on completing Witch’s Homework. Aubade of Morningstar and Moon grants Elemental Mastery and boosts Lunar Reaction DMG while the wearer is off-field, with an additional condition involving Ascendant Gleam. Flower of Paradise Lost also grants Elemental Mastery, but its four-piece bonus is tied to the wearer triggering specified reactions. These are different damage plans and conditions, not interchangeable effects.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The additional 25% Skill DMG is available only off-field and ends 2 seconds after taking the field.
- The set’s damage bonuses are directed at Elemental Skills.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the additional off-field 25% as permanent after switching on-field; it clears 2 seconds after taking the field.
- Applying the set’s Skill DMG bonuses to other attack types.
