Understand Husk of Opulent Dreams
Useful when…
- Geo damage dealers who scale with DEF
- Geo characters who can build Curiosity while off-field
Bonuses and stack conditions
Two pieces grant 30% DEF. With four pieces, Curiosity grants 6% DEF and 6% Geo DMG Bonus per stack, up to four stacks. On-field, a Geo attack that hits an opponent grants one stack, at most once every 0.3 seconds. Off-field, the wearer gains one every 3 seconds. If 6 seconds pass without gaining a stack, one is lost.
Using the set
At four stacks, the set supplies 24% DEF and 24% Geo DMG Bonus in addition to the two-piece DEF bonus. Off-field stack generation can help a wearer build Curiosity before taking the field; on-field gains require Geo attacks that hit opponents. Plan around the stack delay if the wearer needs its full bonuses immediately.
Tradeoffs and alternatives
The four-piece effect requires ongoing stack management, so the full benefit is not automatic. Flower of Paradise Lost instead boosts the wearer's Bloom, Hyperbloom, Burgeon, and Lunar-Bloom reaction damage; it is relevant when those reactions are the build's damage focus, not as a direct Geo-set substitute.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Curiosity decays after 6 seconds without a new stack.
- The main four-piece damage bonus is specifically Geo DMG Bonus.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming off-field stacks arrive immediately; they accumulate once every 3 seconds.
- Expecting a non-Geo hit to generate the on-field stack.
