Understand Prayers for Wisdom
Useful when…
- Reducing time affected by Electro
- Situational one-piece defensive coverage
What does it do?
The one-piece effect reduces the time the wearer is affected by Electro by 40%. It addresses Electro status duration, not general damage or elemental resistance.
How does it differ from other options?
Prayers for Destiny targets Hydro-affected time, and Prayers for Illumination targets Pyro-affected time; each reduces its respective status duration by 40%. Ocean-Hued Clam is a separate multi-piece healing and damage set, requiring two or four pieces for its listed effects, rather than a one-piece Electro status effect.
When is the slot justified?
Consider it if Electro status duration is specifically interfering with survival or play in the relevant encounter. The effect does not say it prevents Electro status or reduces incoming Electro damage, so those should not be assumed when deciding whether to equip it.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The bonus applies only to Electro status duration.
- Its situational defensive benefit competes with another artifact slot.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Mistaking shorter Electro status duration for Electro damage reduction or immunity.
- Comparing its one-piece effect as though it were a two- or four-piece set bonus.
