Fischl summons Oz to attack nearby opponents with Electro damage. Consider her when you want recurring off-field Electro hits, especially when your active character can trigger Electro-related reactions while Oz is present.

Fischl GUIDE
Understand Fischl
Useful when…
Adding recurring Electro damage while another character is active.
Triggering her reaction passive when the active character causes an Electro-related reaction with Oz on the field.
Using her Burst to reset Oz’s field duration when he is already present.
Oz and her Skill
Nightrider summons Oz with an initial small-area Electro hit, then Oz attacks nearby opponents for 10 seconds. The Skill has a 25-second listed cooldown, and holding it lets you adjust Oz’s summoning location. Pressing the Skill again while it is active summons Oz to Fischl’s side. This makes placement and the recast relevant when targets move away from him.
Burst and reaction passive
Midnight Phantasmagoria transforms Fischl into Oz temporarily, greatly increasing her movement speed and dealing Electro damage to opponents she contacts; each opponent can be struck only once. When the effect ends, Oz remains and attacks. If Oz was already present, the Burst resets his field duration. Her passive Undone Be Thy Sinful Hex adds a separate Electro hit when the active character triggers an Electro-related reaction while Oz is on the field; that hit deals damage equal to 80% of Fischl’s ATK. These effects reward keeping Oz present, but the passive depends on both Oz’s presence and a qualifying reaction.
What to level
For an off-field damage role, the Skill is the clearest talent priority because it places Oz, whose repeated attacks are the core of that role. Her Burst deals an Electro contact hit and resets Oz’s field duration if he is already present. Use that duration reset without treating it as an extra effect unlocked by buying higher Burst talent levels. Normal Attack investment is more relevant if you regularly use Fischl’s bow attacks; her fully charged shot deals Electro damage, and hitting Oz with it triggers the separate Stellar Predator effect, which deals AoE Electro damage equal to 152.7% of the arrow’s damage. Each talent track can reach level 10, with the listed final step costing a Crown of Insight and two Spirit Locket of Boreas.
Use and investment tradeoffs
Oz attacks nearby opponents, so his location matters when enemies move. The Skill’s listed 10-second duration and 25-second cooldown also mean you should not assume it can be recast immediately after expiring; her Burst can reset Oz’s field time if he is already present.
Limitations and tradeoffs
Oz must be on the field for Fischl’s reaction passive to trigger.
Oz attacks nearby enemies, so placement can matter when targets move.
Her Skill has a listed 25-second cooldown despite Oz’s 10-second duration; the Burst can reset his presence.
Common mistakes to avoid
Assuming the reaction passive triggers when Oz is absent.
Treating the Burst as only a contact attack; it also leaves Oz on the field or resets his duration.
Expecting the Skill to be immediately available after its 10-second Oz duration ends.
