Kirara GUIDE
Understand Kirara
Useful when…
- Shield a character using a Max HP-based Skill shield with 250% effectiveness against Dendro DMG.
- Apply Dendro and deal AoE damage while gaining climbing and movement utility from Hold Skill.
- Add Dendro damage to a rotation with the Burst’s package and delayed contact explosions.
- Explore near animals that produce Fowl, Raw Meat, or Chilled Meat without startling them.
What does her Skill provide?
A Press Skill launches Kirara into an AoE Dendro kick and creates a Shield of Safe Transport. The shield’s absorption scales with her Max HP, has a stated maximum cap, and absorbs Dendro DMG with 250% effectiveness. Creating another Shield of Safe Transport adds the remaining absorption to the new shield and resets its duration. Holding the Skill creates the same shield and puts Kirara into Urgent Neko Parcel: she moves, climbs, and jumps more effectively, and collision hits deal Dendro DMG to each opponent at most once every 0.5 seconds. The state lasts up to 10 seconds; its cooldown is 8 to 12 seconds depending on duration. Ending it by waiting or using the Skill again triggers a stronger AoE Flipclaw Strike. Sprinting or actively canceling climbing ends the state early.
How can you use her Burst and exploration passives?
Secret Art: Surprise Dispatch hits opponents with an AoE Dendro package, which then splits into Cat Grass Cardamoms. Those explode on opponent contact or after a period, dealing additional AoE Dendro damage; the Cardamoms last 12 seconds. The Burst has a 15-second cooldown and 60 Energy cost. Her passive increases Skill damage by 0.4% and Burst damage by 0.3% per 1,000 Max HP, adding some damage scaling to HP investment, though the listed effects do not imply that HP replaces damage stats for a damage-focused build. In the party, animals that produce Fowl, Raw Meat, or Chilled Meat are not startled as party members approach.
What should you prioritize investing in?
For a shielding role, Max HP improves the shield absorption and also contributes to the stated Skill and Burst damage bonuses. Prioritize the Skill if shield strength and its attacks matter most; improve Burst if you want its package damage. The Normal Attack chain is a separate source of damage, with four rapid strikes and a three-claw Charged Attack costing 20 Stamina, and is less central when Kirara is used for shield and Skill utility. Her listed level 9-to-10 talent step costs 700,000 Mora, 16 Philosophies of Transience, 12 Spectral Nuclei, two Everamber, and one Crown of Insight; the high cost makes concentrating on the Skill sensible when shielding is the goal.
What limits should you keep in mind?
Hold Skill is not a free long-duration travel mode: staying in Urgent Neko Parcel for longer increases its cooldown, up to the listed 12 seconds, and sprinting or actively canceling a climb ends it. Collision damage is limited to one trigger per opponent every 0.5 seconds. Shield absorption has a maximum cap, so additional HP does not increase it without limit. The short-lived Dendro application from the Press Skill is also described as briefly applying Dendro to Kirara, so do not assume it is a persistent self-application.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Max HP supports shielding and adds specified Skill and Burst damage bonuses, while the listed mechanics do not show unlimited shield scaling.
- Hold Skill trades a variable cooldown for mobility, collision damage, and its ending strike.
- The comparison records identify Yaoyao, Kinich, and Lauma as Dendro characters, but their role details are not established here; element and rarity alone do not prove a direct substitute.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Holding the Skill for the full duration without accounting for its longer cooldown.
- Expecting collision damage to trigger repeatedly on one opponent within 0.5 seconds.
- Investing HP as though shield absorption has no maximum cap.

Meow-teor Kick · Elemental skill
Press
Leaps into the air with all the agility of a cat passing through the bushes, and thwacks her foes with a flying kick that deals AoE Dendro DMG while creating a Shield of Safe Transport. This will also briefly apply Dendro to Kirara. The shield will absorb Dendro DMG with 250% effectiveness. The shield's DMG absorption will be based on Kirara's Max HP and will not exceed a certain percentage of that Max HP. The remaining DMG absorption on a Shield of Safe Transport will stack on a new one when it is created, and its duration will reset.
Hold
Out of her desire to "deliver within half a day," Kirara deploys a Shield of Safe Transport identical to the one that can be created by pressing the skill. She will also curl up into a special express delivery box, entering the Urgent Neko Parcel state in order to move and fight more swiftly.
Urgent Neko Parcel
· Deals Dendro DMG to opponents she crashes into. This effect can be triggered once on each opponent every 0.5s.
· When in this state, Kirara's movement speed, climbing speed, and jumping power are all increased, and her Stamina Consumption from climbing is increased.
· When the duration ends or the skill is used again, a Flipclaw Strike more powerful than the attack in the Press Mode will be unleashed, dealing AoE Dendro DMG.
· The Urgent Neko Parcel state lasts a maximum of 10s. When the state ends, the skill will enter CD. The longer Kirara spends in this state, the longer the CD will be.
· Sprinting or actively canceling climbing will end this state early.

Secret Art: Surprise Dispatch · Elemental burst
Smash opponents with a Special Delivery Package used for punishing parcel thieves, dealing AoE Dendro DMG. After the Special Delivery Package explodes, it will split up into many Cat Grass Cardamoms that will explode either upon contact with opponents or after a period of time, dealing AoE Dendro DMG.

Bewitching, Betwitching Tails
When Kirara is in the Urgent Neko Parcel state of Meow-teor Kick, each impact against an opponent will grant her a stack of Reinforced Packaging. This effect can be triggered once for each opponent hit every 0.5s. Max 3 stacks. When the Urgent Neko Parcel state ends, each stack of Reinforced Packaging will create 1 Shield of Safe Transport for Kirara. The shields that are created this way will have 20% of the DMG absorption that the Shield of Safe Transport produced by Meow-teor Kick would have. If Kirara is already protected by a Shield of Safe Transport created by Meow-teor Kick, its DMG absorption will stack with these shields and its duration will reset.
Pupillary Variance
Every 1,000 Max HP Kirara possesses will increase the DMG dealt by Meow-teor Kick by 0.4%, and the DMG dealt by Secret Art: Surprise Dispatch by 0.3%.
Cat's Creeping Carriage
When Kirara is in the party, animals who produce Fowl, Raw Meat, or Chilled Meat will not be startled when party members approach them.
