Lauma

Dendro support for Bloom and Lunar-Bloom teams

Released Sep 10, 2025

Lauma supports Bloom-family reaction damage with resistance reduction, Pale Hymn damage boosts, and Moonsign-dependent effects. Consider her when your party triggers Bloom, Hyperbloom, Burgeon, or Lunar-Bloom and can make use of her skill's Verdant Dew interaction and burst stacks.

Lauma GUIDE

Understand Lauma

Useful when…

  • Supporting Bloom, Hyperbloom, Burgeon, or Lunar-Bloom damage
  • Reducing nearby opponents' Dendro and Hydro RES with her skill
  • Converting party Bloom into Lunar-Bloom when Lauma is present

Skill modes and Verdant Dew

Runo: Dawnless Rest of Karsikko has tap and hold modes. Tap deals AoE Dendro damage. Hold requires at least one Verdant Dew, consumes all available Dew (up to three), deals one regular AoE Dendro hit and another hit counted as Lunar-Bloom damage, and grants one Moon Song stack per Dew consumed. The skill and Frostgrove Sanctuary attacks reduce the target's Dendro and Hydro RES for 10 seconds. Its listed cooldown is 12 seconds; Sanctuary lasts 15 seconds. Moon Song lasts 15 seconds. The hold-mode hit also lists an Elemental Mastery increase per Dew consumed in its talent parameters.

Burst support and Moonsign conditions

Her burst grants 18 Pale Hymn stacks. If she uses it while she has Moon Song, or gains Moon Song within 15 seconds after using the burst, she consumes all Moon Song stacks and gains six additional Pale Hymn stacks for each one; this conversion can happen once per burst. When nearby party members deal Bloom, Hyperbloom, Burgeon, or Lunar-Bloom damage, each damage instance consumes one stack, with multiple opponents hit consuming multiple stacks. Each stack's duration is counted independently. Her passive converts party Bloom reactions into Lunar-Bloom and increases its base damage based on her Elemental Mastery, up to the stated 14% cap; her presence also raises party Moonsign by one level. After her skill, Nascent Gleam lets Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon damage crit at fixed 15% CRIT Rate and 100% CRIT DMG; Ascendant Gleam instead gives Lunar-Bloom 10% CRIT Rate and 20% CRIT DMG. These Moonsign buffs do not stack with each other.

Investment and conditions

For a reaction-support role, consider the skill and burst because they provide the resistance reduction, Moon Song interaction, and Pale Hymn stacks. Her passive also makes Elemental Mastery relevant to Lunar-Bloom's base-damage increase. Talent investment beyond those functions depends on how much you use her charged attacks or normal attacks; Spirit Envoy movement can consume stamina for up to 10 seconds, with a 4-second cooldown after exiting at the listed level. Each combat talent can be raised to level 10; the supplied level 9-to-10 example costs 700,000 Mora, materials, Eroded Scale-Feather, and a Crown of Insight.

Limits and related characters

Pale Hymn stacks are consumed as qualifying reaction damage hits, so their support is tied to those reactions and the number of targets hit. Hold skill requires Verdant Dew, and converts no more than three stacks per use. Nefer, Kinich, and Nahida are listed as Dendro characters, but their elements and weapons alone do not establish that they share Lauma's reaction conversion or Pale Hymn support.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • Hold skill requires Verdant Dew and consumes all available stacks, up to three.
  • Pale Hymn is finite and is consumed by qualifying reaction damage; multi-target hits can spend multiple stacks.
  • The reaction critical-hit effect depends on Moonsign and differs between Nascent Gleam and Ascendant Gleam.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Trying to hold the skill without at least one Verdant Dew.
  • Expecting Moon Song to convert into Pale Hymn more than once per burst.
  • Treating the two Moonsign buff modes as cumulative; the different Moonsign buffs cannot stack.

Runo: Dawnless Rest of Karsikko · Elemental skill

Silently incants an ancient hymn, summoning a **Frostgrove Sanctuary** with different effects depending on whether you Tap or Hold.

Tap
Intone a Hymn of Hunting, dealing AoE Dendro DMG.

Hold
Can be unleashed when you have at least 1 **Verdant Dew**. Lauma consumes all Verdant Dew and intones a Hymn of Eternal Rest, dealing one regular instance of AoE Dendro DMG and another instance of AoE Dendro DMG that is considered Lunar-Bloom DMG. Each Verdant Dew consumed will give Lauma one stack of **Moon Song**. Each time you Hold to cast an Elemental Skill, a maximum of 3 Verdant Dew can be consumed in this way.

Additionally, when Lauma's Elemental Skill or attacks from Frostgrove Sanctuary hit an opponent, that opponent's Dendro RES and Hydro RES will be decreased for 10s.

Runo: All Hearts Become the Beating Moon · Elemental burst

Let the wishes of all beings become as moonlight that bathes the earth. Lauma incants a sacred song of the far north, gaining 18 stacks of **Pale Hymn**.
Additionally, if Lauma uses her Elemental Burst while she has **Moon Song**, or she gains Moon Song within 15s of using her Elemental Burst, she will consume all Moon Song stacks and gain 6 stacks of Pale Hymn for every Moon Song stack consumed. This effect can only be triggered once for each Elemental Burst used, including the 15 seconds following its use.

Pale Hymn
When nearby party members deal Bloom, Hyperbloom, Burgeon, or Lunar-Bloom DMG, 1 stack of Pale Hymn will be consumed and the DMG dealt will be increased based on Lauma's Elemental Mastery. If this DMG hits multiple opponents at once, then multiple stacks of Pale Hymn will be consumed, depending on how many opponents are hit.
The duration for each stack of Pale Hymn is counted independently.

Purchased talent coefficients at level 1 and 1. These are individual skill values; they do not represent total build damage.

Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam
All nearby party members' Lunar-Bloom DMG CRIT Rate +10%, CRIT DMG +20%.
