Lynette GUIDE
Understand Lynette
Useful when…
- Apply Anemo damage and reposition through Enigmatic Feint’s Hold mode.
- Draw nearby enemy attacks toward the Bogglecat Box while it deals Anemo damage.
- Gain a short party ATK bonus after the burst, with its value based on elemental-type count.
- Locate nearby Fontaine resources with her exploration passive.
Skill modes, movement, and HP changes
Enigmatic Feint deals Anemo damage with an Enigma Thrust. On hit, it restores 25% of Lynette’s Max HP, then she loses 6% of her current HP per second for four seconds. Pressing uses the thrust quickly. Holding enters a high-speed state for up to 2.5 seconds, lets you steer her and applies Shadowsign to one nearby opponent; ending the state early or letting it finish triggers the thrust. If the marked opponent is nearby, she flashes toward it first. The mark is removed if that opponent gets too far away. At intervals, the thrust also releases an Ousia-aligned Surging Blade. The skill’s cooldown is 12 seconds.
Burst and party ATK bonus
Magic Trick: Astonishing Shift deals area Anemo damage and summons a Bogglecat Box for 12 seconds. It taunts nearby opponents and deals Anemo damage at intervals. If it contacts Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro, it converts to that element and adds Vivid Shots of the same type; conversion can happen once during the burst. Within ten seconds after the burst, Sophisticated Synergy raises all party members’ ATK by 8%, 12%, 16%, or 20% when the party contains one, two, three, or four elemental types respectively. This makes the bonus conditional on party composition. If the box converts, Props Positively Prepped increases Lynette’s burst damage by 15% until the box expires.
Investment priorities and useful limits
The skill track develops Lynette’s damage, healing, and movement skill; the burst track develops the Box and its periodic shots. Prioritize between them according to which ability is doing more of the work in your use of her. The Normal Attack track covers her four-hit sword string, two-hit Charged Attack, and plunge. Her passive also marks nearby Recovery Orbs on the minimap and increases the Aquatic Stamina and HP they restore by 25%, which can matter during exploration. Her burst costs 70 Energy and has an 18-second cooldown, so using it repeatedly depends on meeting that Energy requirement.
Practical limitations
The skill’s HP recovery is followed by a four-second drain, so the displayed heal is not the end of the HP change. Hold mode marks at most one opponent and loses the mark if the target moves too far away. The Bogglecat Box only converts once per burst, and the ATK bonus lasts ten seconds after casting; it depends on distinct elemental types, not simply the number of party members.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Her party ATK bonus scales with the number of elemental types, which can constrain composition if seeking its maximum value.
- The skill combines a heal with a subsequent HP drain; the net effect depends on the character’s HP at the time.
- Burst use requires 70 Energy and the Box’s elemental conversion is limited to one per duration.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Counting party members instead of distinct elemental types for Sophisticated Synergy.
- Ignoring the skill’s HP drain after its initial heal.
- Expecting the Bogglecat Box to absorb more than one element during its duration.

Enigmatic Feint · Elemental skill
Flicks her mantle and executes an Enigma Thrust, dealing Anemo DMG.
When the Enigma Thrust hits an opponent, it will restore Lynette's HP based on her Max HP, and in the 4s afterward, she will lose a certain amount of HP per second.
Based on whether you press or hold this ability, she will use Enigma Thrust differently.
Press
She swiftly uses an Enigma Thrust.
Hold
Lynette will enter a high-speed Pilfering Shadow state and apply Shadowsign to a nearby opponent. You can control her movement direction during this state, and you can end it prematurely by using this skill again.
When this high-speed state ends, Lynette will unleash her Enigma Thrust. If there is an opponent with Shadowsign applied to them nearby, Lynette will approach them in a flash before using Enigma Thrust.
A maximum of 1 opponent can have Shadowsign at any one time. When this opponent gets too far from Lynette, the Shadowsign will be canceled.
Arkhe: Ousia
