Understand Mika
Useful when…
Grant nearby party members Soulwind with Starfrost Swirl.
Generate Detector stacks to increase the on-field character’s Physical DMG.
Heal nearby party members with Skyfeather Song and provide follow-up healing when affected active characters hit with Normal Attacks.
Reveal nearby Mondstadt-specific resources on the minimap.
Skill and Detector stacks
Starfrost Swirl grants nearby party members Soulwind, which increases ATK SPD. Tap fires a Flowfrost Arrow that can pierce opponents; Hold aims and fires a Rimestar Flare that can launch shards at up to three other opponents. The listed 13% ATK SPD bonus is a level-one value; Soulwind lasts 12 seconds and the skill has a 15-second cooldown. Suppressive Barrage grants Detector stacks when additional opponents are hit by the Tap arrow or when Rimestar Shards hit. Each stack increases Physical DMG by 10% for the on-field character. The base talent grants up to three stacks. Topographical Mapping can add one stack from a CRIT hit when the active character has both Eagleplume and Soulwind, once per Soulwind instance.
Burst healing
Skyfeather Song heals nearby party members based on Mika’s Max HP and grants Eagleplume for 15 seconds. While Eagleplume is active, an affected active character’s Normal Attack hit restores HP based on Mika’s Max HP. The listed healing interval is 2.5 seconds per character. The burst costs 70 Energy and has an 18-second cooldown.
Support conditions and progression
Detector’s Physical DMG increase applies to the on-field character and depends on generating stacks, so it is useful when that character deals Physical damage. The Elemental Skill track develops Starfrost Swirl; the Burst track develops Skyfeather Song. Choose between them based on whether attack-speed support or healing is the focus. Mika’s exploration passive displays nearby Mondstadt-specific resources on the minimap.
Stack and recast limits
Casting Starfrost Swirl again during an active Soulwind clears the existing Soulwind and its Detector stacks. The Tap arrow grants stacks for each additional opponent hit beyond the first; the Hold version relies on its shards hitting opponents. Eagleplume’s follow-up healing requires Normal Attack hits, and Detector’s bonus affects the on-field character.
Limitations and tradeoffs
Detector’s Physical DMG increase requires stacks and applies to the on-field character.
Recasting Starfrost Swirl during Soulwind clears its existing stacks.
Follow-up healing requires Normal Attack hits and has a per-character interval.
Common mistakes to avoid
Assuming the first opponent hit by the Tap arrow grants a Detector stack.
Assuming three is the absolute Detector cap despite Topographical Mapping’s conditional extra stack.
Expecting Eagleplume follow-up healing without Normal Attack hits.

Suppressive Barrage
Per the following circumstances, the Soulwind state caused by Starfrost Swirl will grant characters the Detector effect, increasing their Physical DMG by 10% when they are on the field. ·If the Flowfrost Arrow hits more than one opponent, each additional opponent hit will generate 1 Detector stack. ·When a Rimestar Shard hits an opponent, it will generate 1 Detector stack. Each Rimestar Shard can trigger the effect 1 time.
The Soulwind state can have a maximum of 3 Detector stacks, and if Starfrost Swirl is cast again during this duration, the pre-existing Soulwind state and all its Detector stacks will be cleared.
Topographical Mapping
When an active character affected by both Skyfeather Song's Eagleplume and Starfrost Swirl's Soulwind at once scores a CRIT Hit with their attacks, Soulwind will grant them 1 stack of Detector from the Ascension Talent Suppressive Barrage. During a single instance of Soulwind, 1 Detector stack can be gained in this manner. Additionally, the maximum number of stacks that can be gained through Soulwind alone is increased by 1. You must first unlock the Ascension Talent "Suppressive Barrage."
