Pyro catalyst support who grants ATK, creates a shield, and enables coordinated attacks from active party members during her burst. Consider Nicole when you want protection and ATK support alongside follow-up damage that uses the active attacker’s Elemental type and ATK.
Released May 20, 2026
Nicole’s skill grants nearby party members Grace of Kenosis, an ATK bonus, and a shield that scales from her ATK. Her burst enters Silent Contemplation, where active party members’ hits can call Arcane Projections. Her passives upgrade ATK buffs under specific on-field and Elemental damage conditions.

Nicole GUIDE
Understand Nicole
Useful when…
Provide a shield and ATK bonus to nearby party members with her skill.
Add up to four coordinated attacks during her burst by having nearby active party members hit opponents.
Use her ATK-based shield when Pyro damage absorption is especially relevant.
What does her skill provide?
Revelation: Uncreated Light deals area Pyro damage, creates a Shield of Blazing Light, and grants nearby party members Grace of Kenosis. At the listed level-one values, the shield lasts 20 seconds, absorbs damage based on Nicole’s ATK, and absorbs Pyro damage at 250% effectiveness. The ATK bonus is based on 8.25% of Nicole’s ATK, capped at 330 at that level. The skill has a 16-second cooldown. Her passive Methexis observes the other active party members for 20 seconds after the skill: after an observed character stays on field for three seconds, their Grace of Kenosis gains an additional 300 ATK. If that character is a Hexerei character, the upgrade happens immediately; when a character with Guidance of Theosis leaves the field, the effect reverts to Grace of Kenosis.
How does the burst’s coordinated attack work?
Revelation: Ladder of Divine Ascent deals area Pyro damage and switches Nicole to Silent Contemplation for 20 seconds at the listed level-one values. While in this mode, nearby active party members who hit an opponent summon an Arcane Projection to perform a coordinated area attack. That damage scales from the corresponding character’s ATK, uses that character’s Elemental type, and is considered to have been dealt by that character. It can occur once every three seconds and up to four times each time Nicole enters the mode. This ties its output to the active attacker: the projection is not a fixed Pyro hit or an independent source with a single scaling stat.
When do her buffs improve?
When nearby active party members’ Elemental damage hits an opponent, Nicole’s own Grace of Kenosis upgrades to Guidance of Theosis for eight seconds. This is a separate passive condition from Methexis, which observes other active party members after her skill. Her normal, charged, and plunging attacks deal Pyro damage, but the provided details do not describe those attacks as the central support mechanism. The exploration passive changes her charged attack into Emissarial Guidance only when she has obtained the current region’s Treasure Compass, and only in Teyvat outside combat; it does not work in Domains, Trounce Domains, or Spiral Abyss.
How should you invest and avoid mistakes?
Skill investment improves the ATK-scaled shield and the skill’s buff parameters; burst investment improves its damage and is relevant if you use the coordinated attacks. Ascension uses Pine Amber and Remnant of the Dreadwing at the listed stages. Talent examples use Elysium books and Warrant materials; the level 9-to-10 example also requires Counterfeit Resin and a Crown of Insight. Her ATK-based shield is especially effective against Pyro, but that does not mean it absorbs all damage equally. The comparison entries identify other Pyro claymore characters but provide no kit details, so they do not establish that any one of them replaces Nicole’s shield and coordinated-attack conditions.
Limitations and tradeoffs
The shield scales from Nicole’s ATK, while the upgraded team buff has its own timing condition.
Arcane Projections require active party members to hit opponents nearby and are limited to four triggers per burst entry.
The Treasure Compass exploration effect requires the current region’s compass and is disabled in named combat activities.
Common mistakes to avoid
Assuming Arcane Projections trigger from off-field hits; the description specifies nearby active party members hitting opponents.
Expecting the additional 300 ATK upgrade from Methexis immediately for every character; it requires three seconds on field except for Hexerei characters.
Relying on Emissarial Guidance without the current region’s Treasure Compass or inside excluded activities.

Revelation: Uncreated Light · Elemental skill
Recreates a fleeting glimpse of an age long past, when the angels acted on the authority of the heavens, bestowing the **Grace of Kenosis****** effect on nearby party members. This increases their ATK and deals AoE Pyro DMG, as well as creates a Shield of Blazing Light. The Shield of Blazing Light's DMG Absorption is based on Nicole's ATK, and it will absorb Pyro DMG at 250% effectiveness.

Revelation: Ladder of Divine Ascent · Elemental burst
As Nicole weaves the path of anchored fate with golden threads of light, she deals AoE Pyro DMG and switches to Silent Contemplation mode. In this mode, when nearby active party members hit an opponent, an Arcane Projection is summoned to perform a Coordinated Attack against the opponent, dealing AoE Elemental DMG of the character's corresponding Elemental Type. This DMG scales based on the corresponding character's ATK and will be considered as having been dealt by them. This effect can occur once every 3s, and can be triggered up to 4 times each time Nicole switches to Silent Contemplation mode.
It is worth noting that Hexerei characters' Arcane Projections appear to differ somehow in appearance from the others...

Methexis
For 20s after unleashing the Elemental Skill **Revelation: Uncreated Light**, Nicole will continuously "observe" the other current active party members. After the observed character has remained on the field for 3s, their **Grace of Kenosis** is upgraded to **Guidance of Theosis**, increasing their ATK by an additional 300. If the observed character is a Hexerei character, Grace of Kenosis is upgraded to Guidance of Theosis straight away. When characters other than Nicole who have Guidance of Theosis leave the field, their effect reverts to Grace of Kenosis.
Philokalia
When Elemental DMG from nearby active party members hits an opponent, Nicole's own **Grace of Kenosis** effect is upgraded to **Guidance of Theosis** for 8s.
Nepsis
When you are in Teyvat and not in combat, Nicole's Charged Attack becomes "Emissarial Guidance" if you have already obtained the current region's Treasure Compass. Emissarial Guidance: Calls upon nearby Seelie to show the way, triggering an effect similar to the region's Treasure Compass. This effect has a cooldown time of 5 seconds and does not work in Domains, Trounce Domains, and the Spiral Abyss.
