Understand Rosaria
Useful when…
- Place the Ice Lance where opponents can remain in its area for repeated Cryo hits.
- Cast burst after building CRIT Rate when the nearby party can benefit from its short CRIT Rate buff.
- Use her skill to reposition behind eligible opponents and gain a temporary personal CRIT Rate increase.
Skill and repositioning
Ravaging Confession shifts Rosaria behind an opponent, then stabs and slashes for Cryo damage. It cannot move her behind opponents of a larger build, so treat the reposition as conditional rather than guaranteed mobility. When it strikes an opponent from behind, Regina Probationum increases her CRIT Rate by 12% for five seconds. The skill cooldown is six seconds.
Burst and shared CRIT Rate
Rites of Termination first slashes nearby opponents, then summons an Ice Lance that periodically releases cold air to deal Cryo damage around it. The lance lasts eight seconds; the burst costs 60 Energy and has a 15-second cooldown. Shadow Samaritan increases nearby party members' CRIT Rate, excluding Rosaria, for ten seconds after she casts the burst. The increase is 15% of Rosaria's own CRIT Rate and cannot exceed 15%. This makes Rosaria's CRIT Rate relevant to a support role as well as her personal damage.
Investment and exploration
Consider burst levels when the Ice Lance's periodic Cryo damage and team buff are central; skill levels improve the repositioning hit. Normal-attack levels are more conditional on her on-field polearm attacks. Ascension supports general progression. At night, from 18:00 to 06:00, her passive raises party movement speed by 10%, but the effect does not apply in Domains, Trounce Domains, or Spiral Abyss and does not stack.
Limits and practical use
The skill cannot reposition behind larger opponents, and the shared CRIT Rate buff depends on Rosaria's own CRIT Rate and has a 15% cap. The burst's periodic damage is localized around the Ice Lance. Mika, Skirk, and Citlali are listed Cryo candidates with differing weapons and rarities; the available facts do not establish that they reproduce Rosaria's burst or CRIT Rate sharing.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The party CRIT Rate increase depends on Rosaria's own CRIT Rate and is capped at 15%.
- Her burst's periodic area damage rewards keeping opponents near the Ice Lance.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the skill can move Rosaria behind every opponent, including larger builds.
- Expecting the party CRIT Rate bonus to exceed 15% or include Rosaria herself.
- Using the nighttime movement bonus in Domains or the Spiral Abyss.
