Tighnari GUIDE
Understand Tighnari
Useful when…
- Firing up to three faster Wreath Arrows after using his Skill.
- Hitting nearby opponents with tracking Clusterbloom Arrows and Burst shafts.
- Locating nearby Sumeru-specific resources on the mini-map.
Charged-shot setup and Burst
His charged shot has two levels. The first fires a Dendro arrow; the second fires a Wreath Arrow that creates four Clusterbloom Arrows on hit, tracking nearby opponents. His Skill throws a Dendro Stormheart, creates a field that taunts opponents and draws their fire, and grants Vijnana Suffusion. This reduces Wreath Arrow charging time by 2.4 seconds and ends when the Skill duration ends or after three Wreath Arrows are fired. His Burst fires six tracking Tanglevine Shafts; after they hit, they create a second wave that can also track nearby opponents.
Elemental Mastery and exploration
After firing a Wreath Arrow, Tighnari gains 50 Elemental Mastery for four seconds. His other combat passive increases Charged Attack DMG and Fashioner's Tanglevine Shaft DMG by 0.06% per point of Elemental Mastery, up to a 60% bonus. Fashioner's Tanglevine Shaft is his Burst, so the stated bonus applies to its shafts. His exploration passive displays nearby resources unique to Sumeru on the mini-map.
Talent and ascension materials
The Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst have separate upgrade tracks. Ascension examples list Nagadus Emerald, Nilotpala Lotus, fungal materials, and Majestic Hooked Beak at later stages. A listed level 9-to-10 combat talent step costs 700,000 Mora, 16 Philosophies of Admonition, 12 Crystalline Cyst Dust, two The Meaning of Aeons, and a Crown of Insight.
Limits and comparisons
The faster Wreath Arrow charging is temporary and ends after three shots or when its duration expires. The Skill field taunts opponents; its description does not specify that it prevents all incoming damage. Collei shares Tighnari's Dendro and Bow categories, while Lauma and Nefer are Dendro Catalyst users. Those record details alone do not establish interchangeable charged-shot mechanics.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Faster Wreath Arrow charging is tied to the Skill window and ends after three shots or when its duration expires.
- The Elemental Mastery-derived bonus for Charged Attacks and Burst shafts is capped at 60%.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the Skill's charge-time reduction as permanent or lasting beyond three Wreath Arrows.
- Assuming the taunt field is a shield or prevents all damage.
- Overlooking that the post-Wreath Arrow Elemental Mastery increase lasts four seconds.
