Understand Lithic Blade
Useful when…
- A party composition that includes several Liyue characters and can maintain that lineup.
Weapon and passive
At refinement 1, each stack grants 7% ATK and 3% CRIT Rate; at refinement 5, each grants 11% ATK and 7% CRIT Rate. With four stacks, those bonuses total 28% ATK and 12% CRIT Rate at R1, or 44% ATK and 28% CRIT Rate at R5. The effect specifies up to four stacks for Liyue characters in the party but does not explain any special counting rule for the wielder.
Party composition matters
The passive's strength depends on the number of Liyue characters in the party. A lineup with several such characters can provide more stacks; changing the lineup can change the available bonus. Ultimate Overlord's Mega Magic Sword has a different condition: its ATK bonus depends partly on how many Melusines have been helped in Merusea Village, up to an additional 12% at R1. These effects depend on different conditions.
Ascension and refinement
The weapon has ascension stages from 0 to 6, with example material costs supplied for stages 0–1, 3–4, and 5–6. Refinement ranges from 1 to 5; the provided example steps consume a Lithic Blade R1 copy and Mora. Refinement raises the per-stack bonuses from 7% ATK and 3% CRIT Rate at R1 to 11% and 7% at R5.
Other claymore effects
A Teaspoon of Transcendence has a different passive: it grants ATK and increases Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl reaction damage after the wielder hits with Charged Attacks. That condition differs from Lithic Blade's party-composition-based effect.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The ATK and CRIT Rate bonuses depend on how many Liyue characters are in the party.
- The supplied effect does not explain a special counting rule for the wielder's regional identity.
- Refinement requires a Lithic Blade copy for the example steps provided.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the four-stack maximum without checking how many Liyue characters are in the party.
- Assuming the effect specifies how the wielder's regional identity is counted.
- Treating the Merusea Village condition on Ultimate Overlord's Mega Magic Sword as the same condition as Lithic Blade's party-based effect.
