Nightweaver's Looking Glass

Reaction support catalyst that grants Elemental Mastery and boosts nearby Bloom-family reaction damage when both conditions are active.

Released Sep 10, 2025

Nightweaver’s Looking Glass is a five-star catalyst with Elemental Mastery as its secondary stat. Its skill-damage and Lunar-Bloom triggers grant two timed buffs; while both are active, nearby party members receive large Bloom-family reaction damage bonuses. Consider it for a Hydro or Dendro Skill user in a setup that can also trigger Lunar-Bloom reactions.

Understand Nightweaver's Looking Glass

Useful when…

  • A Hydro or Dendro catalyst user whose Elemental Skill deals matching elemental damage.
  • A party that can trigger Lunar-Bloom while the Skill-triggered buff remains active.
  • Supporting nearby party members’ Bloom, Hyperbloom, Burgeon, or Lunar-Bloom damage.

Two conditions, then the team bonus

When the wielder’s Elemental Skill deals Hydro or Dendro DMG, it grants 60 Elemental Mastery for 4.5 seconds at R1. When nearby party members trigger Lunar-Bloom, the wielder gains another 60 Elemental Mastery for 10 seconds. While both effects are active, nearby party members gain 120% Bloom DMG, 80% Hyperbloom and Burgeon DMG, and 40% Lunar-Bloom DMG. The effect cannot stack, and these effects can trigger while the wielder is off-field.

Use and timing

The party damage bonus requires both the Skill-based Prayer of the Far North and the Lunar-Bloom-based New Moon Verse to overlap. A Hydro or Dendro Skill hit alone gives its Elemental Mastery buff but does not meet the second condition. Likewise, a Lunar-Bloom trigger alone gives its own buff but does not activate the combined party bonus until the Skill condition is also active.

Refinement and investment

Ascension progresses through stage 6. Refinement consumes another copy and improves both Elemental Mastery buffs and all three reaction damage bonuses. At R5, the two buffs are 120 Elemental Mastery each; the combined bonus becomes 240% Bloom, 160% Hyperbloom and Burgeon, and 80% Lunar-Bloom DMG. Since the group effect still requires both conditions and cannot stack, refinement is a targeted investment in a setup that can activate it.

Different catalyst roles

A Thousand Floating Dreams gives the wielder party-composition-based Elemental Mastery or elemental DMG Bonus and grants Elemental Mastery to nearby teammates. Angelos’ Heptades grants active-party DMG after the wielder creates a shield, with an Energy restoration effect. Apprentice’s Notes is a basic catalyst with no secondary stat. These have different triggers and support profiles from Nightweaver’s paired reaction conditions.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • The large nearby-party reaction bonus requires both timed effects to be active together.
  • The group effect cannot stack with another instance of itself.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Assuming either one of the two triggers alone activates the team reaction bonus.
  • Expecting multiple copies of the group effect to stack.
