Whitelake Frostfeather

Skill-hit sword for ATK and Stellar Glimmer support

Released Aug 12, 2026

Whitelake Frostfeather builds ATK when its wielder's Elemental Skill hits, then enhances Stellar Glimmer reaction damage and restores some Energy at three stacks. Consider it for a sword user who can build those stacks and trigger Stellar Glimmer effects.

Understand Whitelake Frostfeather

Useful when…

  • A sword wielder whose Elemental Skill can hit opponents repeatedly
  • A Stellar Glimmer-focused setup that can use the three-stack bonuses and Energy recovery

Stacking and three-stack payoff

Skill hits grant Lake-Hued Lament: at R1, each stack adds 8% ATK for 8 seconds, up to three stacks, with each stack's duration independent. At three stacks, the wielder's Stellar Glimmer reaction damage gains 50% CRIT DMG. Triggering Stellar Glimmer reactions or their damage also restores 4 Energy, at most once every 3.5 seconds. Refinement raises the stack ATK, reaction CRIT DMG, and Energy restored.

Use and comparison

The passive can trigger while the wielder is off-field, but the stack trigger still requires that wielder's Elemental Skill to hit an opponent. Absolution instead gives CRIT DMG and increases the wielder's damage when Bond of Life value increases. Amenoma Kageuchi provides Energy through Skill-generated seeds consumed after a Burst; Aquila Favonia raises ATK and has a taking-damage trigger. These effects serve distinct conditions.

Investment and caveats

Ascension advances through six stages. Refinement consumes a duplicate and Mora to improve all three passive values. The Stellar Glimmer CRIT DMG bonus requires three stacks; do not apply it before reaching that threshold, and do not treat the Energy recovery as unlimited because it has its own interval.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • Its strongest reaction bonuses require three stacks.
  • Energy recovery is limited by a 3.5-second trigger interval and depends on Stellar Glimmer.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Counting the Stellar Glimmer CRIT DMG bonus before building three stacks.
  • Assuming off-field triggering removes the requirement for the wielder's Skill to hit.
