Yae Miko GUIDE
Understand Yae Miko
Useful when…
- Adding recurring off-field Electro damage.
- Using Elemental Mastery as a secondary source of Sesshou Sakura damage.
- Marking nearby Liyue-specific resources on the mini-map while exploring.
Skill and burst
Yakan Evocation has three charges and leaves Sesshou Sakura behind. Each tower periodically hits one nearby opponent. Nearby towers raise one another’s levels, increasing their strike damage. Up to three can exist, but placing a new one too close destroys an existing tower. Her burst deals AoE Electro damage and destroys nearby towers, producing one Tenko Thunderbolt per tower destroyed. Each tower destroyed also resets one skill charge, so placing all three first adds burst strikes and restores charges for rebuilding. The burst has a 22-second cooldown and costs 90 Energy.
Talent focus
The skill is a practical focus when recurring tower damage is her main contribution. Raise the burst when you use it regularly and can fund its 90 Energy cost. Her passive increases Sesshou Sakura damage by 0.15% per point of Elemental Mastery; this makes Elemental Mastery relevant but does not establish that it should replace other damage stats.
Placement and field use
Avoid placing towers so close that a new one removes an existing tower. Using the burst consumes nearby towers, so rebuild them afterward to restore their recurring damage. Her normal attacks deal Electro damage, but the listed abilities do not establish a special normal-attack synergy. Varesa shares Electro and catalyst traits with Yae; Raiden Shogun and Flins are Electro polearm users. Those shared traits alone do not establish that any is a direct replacement for Yae’s tower playstyle.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Her burst can deliver several AoE strikes, but its 90 Energy cost can make frequent use dependent on energy support.
- Towers need sensible spacing and must be replaced after the burst consumes them.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Placing a new Sesshou Sakura close enough to destroy an existing one.
- Using the burst with fewer than three nearby towers when additional Thunderbolts are desired.
- Forgetting to redeploy towers after the burst consumes them.

Yakan Evocation: Sesshou Sakura · Elemental skill
To Yae, such dull tasks as can be accomplished by driving spirits out need not be done personally.
Moves swiftly, leaving a Sesshou Sakura behind.
Sesshou Sakura
Has the following properties:
· Periodically strikes one nearby opponent with lightning, dealing Electro DMG
· When there are other Sesshou Sakura nearby, their level will increase, boosting the DMG dealt by these lightning strikes.
This skill has three charges.
A maximum of 3 Sesshou Sakura can exist simultaneously. The initial level of each Sesshou Sakura is 1, and the initial highest level each sakura can reach is 3. If a new Sesshou Sakura is created too close to an existing one, the existing one will be destroyed.

Great Secret Art: Tenko Kenshin · Elemental burst
Legends of "kitsunetsuki," or the manifestation of a kitsune's might, are common in Inazuma's folktales. One that particularly captures the imagination is that of the Sky Kitsune, said to cause lightning to fall down upon the foes of the Grand Narukami Shrine. Summons a lightning strike, dealing AoE Electro DMG.
When she uses this skill, Yae Miko will unseal nearby Sesshou Sakura, destroying their outer forms and transforming them into Tenko Thunderbolts that descend from the skies, dealing AoE Electro DMG. Each Sesshou Sakura destroyed in this way will create one Tenko Thunderbolt.
