Common mistakes to avoid

A single Exclusive skill can be active

Exclusive skills share one global limit across trees, so investing in multiple trees does not allow simultaneous activation of multiple Exclusive skills.

Toggled skills reduce available Energy

A toggled skill reserves a portion of the Energy bar while active; the compendium’s example leaves only 850 usable Energy from a 1000-point bar when 150 is reserved.

Mastery-bar points cannot be removed

The official guide describes fee-based skill-point removal at a Spirit Guide but states that Mastery-bar points cannot be removed; the compendium also says Masteries cannot be changed once chosen.

Edition and mechanic limits
  • The source set includes the official Masteries guide and a player-maintained compendium; it does not provide detailed effects for named equipment, recipes, or individual Devotion constellations.
  • No comparative effectiveness, exact build outcomes, acquisition locations for the described Masteries, or current meta claims are established here.
  • The compendium gives version-dependent base-game and Ashes of Malmouth point caps, but this reference does not generalize those caps to other editions or expansions.
