Understand A Trail of Bygone Blood
Useful when…
- A Destruction wearer who benefits from CRIT Rate.
- A wearer whose Skill and Ultimate are important damage sources.
Effect details
At S1, the wearer gains 12% CRIT Rate, and their Skill DMG and Ultimate DMG each increase by 24%. At S5, the CRIT Rate bonus is 20% and the Skill and Ultimate DMG bonus is 40%. The Light Cone names only Skill and Ultimate DMG for the damage increase; it does not list Basic ATK DMG.
Comparing damage conditions
A Secret Vow increases the wearer's DMG generally and adds extra DMG against enemies whose current HP percentage is at least the wearer's. A Thankless Coronation provides CRIT DMG and a post-Ultimate ATK increase, with an additional ATK increase and Energy recovery when the wearer's Max Energy is at least 300. Brighter Than the Sun grants CRIT Rate, with ATK and Energy Regeneration Rate stacks gained through Basic ATKs. Consider these only when their distinct conditions and stats better suit the wearer; they do not reproduce this Light Cone's Skill and Ultimate bonus.
Improvement priorities
Promotion raises the Light Cone through stages 0–6. Superimposition advances S1–S5 using one sacrifice copy at each listed step, increasing both CRIT Rate and Skill/Ultimate DMG bonuses. Promotion is a direct improvement to the equipped copy; consider superimposition when the larger bonuses justify spending duplicate copies.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The damage bonus applies to Skill and Ultimate DMG, not explicitly to Basic ATK DMG.
- It does not state a conditional team benefit.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Applying the Skill and Ultimate DMG increase to Basic ATKs.
- Confusing A Secret Vow's enemy-HP condition with this Light Cone's unconditional Skill and Ultimate DMG bonus.
