I Am As You Behold GUIDE
Understand I Am As You Behold
Useful when…
- Destruction wearers that deal meaningful Ultimate damage and consume Energy with that Ultimate.
- Teams that benefit from the temporary all-ally CRIT DMG increase.
What does it do?
It increases the wearer’s ATK and Energy Regeneration Rate. For each point of Energy consumed by the wearer’s Ultimate, that Ultimate gains a damage increase, capped at the listed maximum. The formula is the Energy consumed multiplied by the per-point increase, up to the cap. On entering combat or using Ultimate, the wearer gains King’s Entertainment for three turns, increasing all allies’ CRIT DMG; same-type effects do not stack.
Who benefits from the Ultimate scaling?
The damage rider applies to the Ultimate used and scales with Energy consumed, up to the cap; it is not a general increase to every attack. Energy Regeneration Rate can support Energy recovery, while King’s Entertainment offers a separate team benefit triggered at combat entry and again by Ultimate use.
How should copies and levels be spent?
Promotion improves the Light Cone’s level and base stats. Superimposition increases its ATK, Energy Regeneration Rate, Ultimate scaling, and team CRIT DMG, using another copy at each step. Consider promotion for base stats; prioritize copies only if the wearer and team regularly use these effects.
What are the relevant alternatives?
A Secret Vow offers a general wearer damage increase and a further bonus against enemies whose HP percentage is at least the wearer’s. A Trail of Bygone Blood instead gives CRIT Rate and boosts Skill and Ultimate damage. A Thankless Coronation ties its extra ATK and Energy effect to Ultimate use and a Max Energy threshold of at least 300. Compare these conditions with this Light Cone’s Energy-consumption scaling and team CRIT DMG.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The Ultimate damage rider scales only with Energy consumed by that Ultimate and has a cap.
- Team CRIT DMG does not stack with effects of the same type.
- Higher superimposition consumes duplicate copies.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the per-Energy Ultimate bonus as a bonus to all damage.
- Expecting the ally CRIT DMG effect to stack with effects of the same type.
