Understand Indelible Promise
Useful when…
- A wearer whose damage plan values Break Effect.
- A wearer who benefits from increased CRIT Rate for two turns after Ultimate.
What does it provide?
At S1, the wearer gains 28% Break Effect; at S5, 56%. Using the wearer’s Ultimate then increases CRIT Rate by 15% at S1, rising to 30% at S5, for two turns. The CRIT Rate effect is triggered by Ultimate use; it is not described as conditional on breaking an enemy.
When should I consider it?
It suits a build that can use both the Break Effect and the timed CRIT Rate. Consider whether the wearer can make useful attacks during the two-turn window after Ultimate. A Secret Vow offers a general damage increase and a further bonus against enemies whose HP percentage is at least the wearer’s. A Thankless Coronation is CRIT DMG and Ultimate-triggered ATK, with additional effects gated by at least 300 Max Energy. A Trail of Bygone Blood offers CRIT Rate and bonuses specifically to Skill and Ultimate damage.
What is worth improving?
Promotion improves the Light Cone’s level. Superimposition increases both Break Effect and the CRIT Rate bonus while leaving the two-turn duration unchanged. Each step consumes a duplicate copy, so weigh the stronger effect against keeping copies separate.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The CRIT Rate increase only starts after Ultimate use and lasts two turns.
- The Light Cone emphasizes Break Effect as well as CRIT Rate, so one part may not suit every build.
- Superimposition requires duplicate copies.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming CRIT Rate is granted by breaking an enemy rather than using Ultimate.
- Counting on the CRIT Rate bonus outside its two-turn duration.
- Ignoring the Break Effect stat when evaluating the Light Cone.
