Though Worlds Apart GUIDE
Understand Though Worlds Apart
Useful when…
- Heal all allies and additionally heal the ally with the lowest current HP when using Ultimate.
- Increase team damage for three turns, with a larger bonus for targets that have summons.
Ultimate healing and Redoubt
The wearer gains 64% ATK at S1, up to 128% at S5. On Ultimate, all allies recover HP equal to 10% of the wearer’s ATK at S1, rising to 20% at S5. The character with the lowest current HP receives the same additional amount. The Ultimate also grants Redoubt to all allies for 3 turns. Redoubt increases their DMG by 24% at S1, or 48% at S5; targets with summons gain a further 12% at S1 or 24% at S5. The extra summon-related increase is conditional on the target having summons.
Who benefits and when
Healing scales from the wearer’s ATK, and both the team heal and Redoubt are tied to Ultimate use. The weakest-current-HP ally receives an additional heal, while Redoubt applies across the party. Its summon clause improves the damage bonus for targets with summons; it is not a separate summon attack or a healing condition.
Investment and alternatives
Promotion advances the Light Cone’s level with Credits and listed materials. Superimposition raises ATK, healing ratios, and Redoubt damage bonuses, while the three-turn duration remains fixed; each shown superimposition step consumes a duplicate. Amber instead raises the wearer’s DEF, with an additional DEF increase below 50% current HP. Concert for Two gives DEF and increases wearer damage for each on-field character with a Shield. Day One of My New Life raises DEF and grants allies All-Type RES after entering battle. Those options emphasize personal DEF or team resistance rather than this Cone’s Ultimate-triggered healing and damage support.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The team heal and damage buff both require the wearer to use Ultimate.
- The additional damage bonus applies only to targets that have summons.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the low-HP ally’s healing as a replacement for the team heal; it is an additional amount.
- Applying the summon-related damage increase to targets without summons.
