Understand Unto Tomorrow's Morrow
Useful when…
- An Abundance wearer who benefits from increased Outgoing Healing.
- A party whose damage dealers often remain at or above 50% of their current HP.
Effect and HP threshold
At S1, the wearer gains 12% Outgoing Healing. An ally target at 50% HP or higher gains 12% increased DMG dealt. At S5, these values become 24% Outgoing Healing and 20% DMG. The threshold applies separately to each ally target: the damage bonus depends on that ally's current HP percentage being at least 50%.
Practical fit and alternatives
The damage bonus is useful only while an ally meets the HP threshold, so it is more dependable when allies can stay at or above half HP. Cornucopia instead increases the wearer's Outgoing Healing after Skill or Ultimate. Dream's Montage grants wearer SPD and Energy after attacks against Weakness Broken enemies. Echoes of the Coffin increases wearer ATK and restores Energy based on the number of different enemies hit, then grants all allies SPD after Ultimate. Each alternative has its own trigger and does not reproduce this Light Cone's HP-gated ally damage bonus.
Improvement priorities
Promotion advances the Light Cone through stages 0–6. Superimposition raises its rank from S1 to S5 using one sacrifice copy at each listed step; higher ranks improve both Outgoing Healing and the conditional damage increase. Promotion is a direct investment in the equipped copy. Consider consuming copies for superimposition if the improved effects are worth the duplicate copies.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The ally damage bonus turns off for an ally below 50% current HP.
- The wearer gains healing output, but the damage bonus is conditional on each ally's HP.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Reading the threshold as above 50%; an ally at exactly 50% qualifies.
- Assuming the DMG increase applies while an ally is below half HP.
