Understand Eagle of Twilight Line
Useful when…
- Use two pieces for the Wind DMG bonus.
- Use four pieces when the wearer uses Ultimates and can benefit from their action being advanced afterward.
What happens after an Ultimate?
Two pieces increase Wind DMG by 10%. With four pieces, after the wearer uses their Ultimate, their action is Advanced Forward by 25%. The effect advances the wearer's action; it does not state a damage increase or specify an additional turn directly.
When should you consider it?
The four-piece benefit depends on Ultimate use and improves action timing. It is relevant when the wearer can make use of acting sooner after an Ultimate. The Wind DMG bonus is a separate two-piece effect and only applies to Wind damage.
How do other Ultimate-linked effects compare?
Hunter of Glacial Forest grants Ice DMG and temporary CRIT DMG after Ultimate; Firesmith of Lava-Forging grants Fire DMG for the next attack after Ultimate. Those sets add damage under their stated element and timing conditions. Dreamlit Actor instead requires using Skill or Ultimate on another ally for its support buff. Eagle's four-piece effect is action advance, so compare the value of that timing with the relevant damage or support effect.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The action advance requires the wearer to use an Ultimate.
- Wind DMG bonus does not increase non-Wind damage.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Reading 25% action advance as a guaranteed extra turn.
- Treating the four-piece bonus as an Ultimate damage increase.
