Understand Scholar Lost in Erudition
Useful when…
- Increasing damage from Skills and Ultimates.
- Boosting the next Skill after the wearer uses their Ultimate.
What does each bonus affect?
Two pieces increase CRIT Rate by 8%. Four pieces increase damage dealt by Skill and Ultimate by 20%. After the wearer uses their Ultimate, the next Skill additionally deals 25% increased damage. The extra effect is specifically for the next Skill after the Ultimate.
When should I consider it?
It fits a wearer whose output includes both Skill and Ultimate damage, especially when the sequence of Ultimate followed by Skill lets them use the additional 25% bonus. The Wind-Soaring Valorous offers a different 36% Ultimate damage bonus, but only after the wearer uses a Follow-Up ATK and for 1 turn; compare the conditions and attack types rather than treating the sets as interchangeable.
What limits the extra Skill bonus?
The additional 25% applies to the next Skill after Ultimate use. The effect does not state a recurring bonus to every Skill, so do not assume later Skills receive it without another Ultimate activation.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The four-piece base damage increase is specific to Skill and Ultimate.
- The additional 25% Skill damage applies to the next Skill after Ultimate use.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the 25% bonus as applying to every Skill after Ultimate use.
- Assuming the set boosts attack types beyond its listed Skill and Ultimate effects.
