Understand Wastelander of Banditry Desert
Useful when…
- Use two pieces for the Imaginary DMG bonus.
- Consider four pieces when the wearer can damage debuffed enemies and can also damage Imprisoned enemies.
Set bonuses and their conditions
Two pieces increase Imaginary DMG by 10%. At four pieces, dealing damage to a debuffed enemy increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 10%; dealing damage to an Imprisoned enemy increases their CRIT DMG by 20%. The two effects have different enemy conditions.
When the four-piece bonus fits
The CRIT Rate bonus requires the wearer to deal damage to debuffed enemies. The additional CRIT DMG bonus requires damaging Imprisoned enemies. The set bonus states no duration for either effect.
How the comparison sets differ
Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters increases damage dealt to debuffed enemies and scales its CRIT DMG bonus with the number of debuffs; its effects temporarily increase after the wearer inflicts a debuff. Longevous Disciple grants Max HP and can increase CRIT Rate when the wearer is hit or loses HP to an ally's or their own effect. Dreamlit Actor grants an Elation bonus to another ally targeted by the wearer's Skill or Ultimate, with an additional team CRIT DMG effect if the wearer has at least 10 Certified Banger. These sets have different activation conditions and effects.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The CRIT Rate bonus requires damaging debuffed enemies.
- The CRIT DMG bonus specifically requires damaging Imprisoned enemies.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating any debuff as sufficient for the Imprisonment-specific CRIT DMG bonus.
- Assuming a duration for either CRIT effect, since the set bonus specifies none.
