Horsemanship
Horsemanship affects horse control and horse stats; another passage says it relates to shying, tiring, and how long a horse can gallop.
How it works
The original-game perks page says higher Horsemanship makes the horse easier to control and gives it better stats. The skills passage says the skill determines how much a horse will shy and how quickly it gets tired, which affects how long it can gallop. The passages give no exact stat values, horse equipment effects, or progression thresholds.
