When profession and recipe benefits begin
A skill level increases immediately, but new recipes and profession benefits become available after the overnight level-up popup and the following morning.
How it works
The Skills passage distinguishes the immediate skill increase from the overnight announcement that grants applicable recipes and profession selection. It says recipe knowledge and profession benefits are not available until the first thing the following morning. Items shipped on the leveling day do not receive a newly selected price bonus.
When it helps
If you are close to a level-up or profession choice, account for the overnight delay before relying on a recipe or price bonus for that day’s activity.
The tradeoff
The skill level can rise before the related recipe or profession benefit is active, so same-day planning may differ from next-day planning.
