Understand Aero Agility
Useful when…
- Reload a sniper faster during aim glides.
- Use its conditional reload bonus when airborne aiming is already part of your weapon handling.
Effect and timing
Aero Agility provides reload speed only while aim gliding: 25% at rank 0, 75% at rank 2, and 100% at rank 3. It is a Sniper mod with Naramon polarity and base drain 4. The effect does not state that the bonus applies to reloads outside an aim glide.
Build fit and alternatives
This standard-slot mod is most relevant when the timing condition suits your handling. Depleted Reload gives a reload-speed bonus with a magazine-capacity penalty, while Charged Chamber instead boosts damage on the first shot in the magazine. Emergent Aftermath is a Conclave-variant option with a short reload bonus after a kill. These have different conditions and costs; none duplicates Aero Agility’s aim-glide requirement.
Ranking and investment
It has three ranks. The listed rank-up costs are 30 Endo and 1,449 credits, then 60 Endo and 2,898 credits, then 120 Endo and 5,796 credits. Rank raises the conditional reload bonus to 100%. Invest in higher ranks if you can regularly aim glide while reloading; otherwise, part of the mod’s value may go unused. The supplied acquisition entry lists Jupiter’s Ganymede Disruption, Rotation C, with a 9.52% chance.
Limitations
The reload benefit requires aim gliding. Do not treat the 100% as a permanent reload-speed bonus or assume it increases damage; the listed effect is reload speed only.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Reload bonus applies only while aim gliding.
- Uses a standard mod slot and competes with effects that provide damage or different reload conditions.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting the reload bonus outside aim gliding.
- Confusing reload speed with increased damage.
