Understand Anchored Glide
Useful when…
- Zephyr builds that value Ability Strength and can accommodate the changed airborne gravity.
Effect and tradeoff
The mod has two linked effects: it disables Zephyr’s reduced airborne gravity and adds Ability Strength. The bonus starts at 3% at rank 0, reaches 10% at rank 3, and tops out at 15% at rank 5. The gravity change is not optional while the mod is equipped.
Slot and investment
Anchored Glide is a standard Exilus mod for Zephyr, with Zenurik polarity and base drain 2. It has five ranks; the listed rank 4-to-5 step costs 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits. Further investment increases Ability Strength but does not remove the gravity tradeoff.
Other Zephyr augments
Jet Stream modifies Turbulence to increase movement and projectile speed for Zephyr and allies. Target Fixation changes Tail Wind and builds its damage per enemy hit, resetting after two seconds on the ground. Airburst Rounds increases secondary damage after Airburst hits. These augment different abilities and do not reproduce Anchored Glide’s Strength bonus or gravity change.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Disables Zephyr’s reduced airborne gravity.
- Uses the Exilus slot for an Ability Strength bonus.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Focusing on Ability Strength while overlooking that the mod disables reduced airborne gravity.
- Assuming other Zephyr ability augments provide the same effect.
