Effect and application
This standard pistol mod has Naramon polarity and base drain 4. At rank 0 it grants +15% Fire Rate and -2.5% Damage; rank 3 gives +60% and -10%; rank 5 gives +90% and -15%. The listed damage penalty should be considered alongside the fire-rate increase rather than treated as a free benefit.
Rank costs
The mod has five ranks. The listed rank 0-to-1 step costs 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits; rank 4-to-5 costs 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits. Higher ranks raise both the fire-rate bonus and the damage penalty, so rank with the full tradeoff in mind.
Compare the tradeoffs
Accelerated Isotope gives +60% Radiation and +40% Fire Rate, without a listed damage penalty. Creeping Bullseye instead grants +200% Critical Chance and reduces Fire Rate by 20%. Flawed Gunslinger grants +30% Fire Rate and is a flawed variant. These mods have different effects and polarities; choose based on which stat tradeoff suits the pistol.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The fire-rate increase comes with a Damage reduction that grows with rank.
- Spending more Endo and Credits raises both the benefit and penalty.
