Useful when…
- Converting secondary ammo pickups for bow ammo sustain.
- Using an Exilus slot to address ammunition needs.
Effect and compatibility
At maximum rank, this standard Bow Exilus mod converts secondary ammo pickups to 50% of Ammo Pick Up. At rank 0 the conversion is 8%; rank 3 gives 33%. It changes ammo pickups, not bow damage.
Ranking and investment
Arrow Mutation has Naramon polarity, base drain 2, and maximum rank 5. The listed rank 4-to-5 step costs 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits. Higher ranks increase the conversion fraction; invest further if the added ammo conversion is useful for your play.
Related bow mods
The comparison candidates are Conclave mods with different effects: Plan B raises secondary weapon fire rate after a hit, Feathered Arrows increases projectile speed while reducing damage, and Soaring Strike increases fire rate while airborne. They do not provide Arrow Mutation’s ammo conversion.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Uses a Bow Exilus slot for ammo conversion rather than another Exilus effect.
