Understand Blood Forge
Useful when…
- Use on Garuda when Bloodletting's reload effect would help maintain weapon uptime.
Effect and rank values
Blood Forge modifies Bloodletting to reload Garuda's equipped weapon. At rank 0 it reloads up to 25%; at rank 2, up to 75%; and at rank 3, up to 100%. The listed effect applies to the equipped weapon, not every weapon at once.
Mod fit and upgrade costs
It is a standard Garuda mod with Zenurik polarity, base drain 6, and maximum rank 3. Each rank raises the reload amount; the listed rank-up costs are 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits, then 60 Endo and 2,898 Credits, then 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits. The final rank reaches full reload, while lower ranks provide partial reload for less investment.
Compare with other Garuda augments
Blending Talons changes Seeking Talons, offering a tap-cast 9 m area effect and additional combo count chance for Garuda's Talons against Slash-affected targets. Dread Ward changes Dread Mirror and grants 8 seconds of invulnerability when that ability kills by ripping a target's life force. These address different abilities and goals, so Blood Forge is relevant when the Bloodletting reload itself is useful.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Requires a standard mod slot and reaches full reload only at rank 3.
- Invest in higher ranks when the larger reload amount matters; rank 0 already provides a partial effect.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the reload amount as a universal weapon reload effect independent of Bloodletting.
