Flawed Cleanse Corpus GUIDE
Understand Flawed Cleanse Corpus
Useful when…
- Add the listed Corpus-specific damage multiplier to a compatible shotgun.
- Use its base drain of 2 when capacity is constrained and its lower ceiling is acceptable.
Effect and fit
This flawed standard-slot shotgun mod has Madurai polarity, base drain 2, and maximum rank 3. Its listed multiplier rises from x1.03 at rank 0 to x1.09 at rank 2 and x1.12 at maximum rank.
Rank and alternatives
The three listed fusion steps cost 20, 40, and 80 Endo, plus 966, 1,932, and 3,864 Credits. Standard Cleanse Corpus reaches x1.3 at rank 5; Primed Cleanse Corpus reaches x1.55 at rank 10. Those are faction-specific alternatives, and the flawed version cannot be equipped alongside either named version.
Limitation
The bonus is specific to Corpus and the mod is flawed, with a lower maximum multiplier than the standard or Primed version. Accelerated Blast is a different shotgun option, listing Fire Rate and Puncture rather than faction damage.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Faction-specific damage is situational.
- Lower maximum multiplier than the standard and Primed versions.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Using it as though its bonus applied to all factions.
- Trying to equip it alongside Cleanse Corpus or Primed Cleanse Corpus.
- Reading the multiplier as a guaranteed final damage value.
