Contagious Spread increases shotgun Toxin damage by up to +90%. It is a standard shotgun mod with Naramon polarity, base drain 6, and five ranks. The listed value rises from +15% at rank 0 to +90% at rank 5.
Rank investment
The final increase is from rank 4 to 5 and costs 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits. Rank it further when the additional Toxin bonus is useful to your build and the shotgun slot capacity allows it; intermediate ranks provide smaller bonuses at lower investment.
Related shotgun mods
Flawed Contagious Spread is a lower-bonus alternative, reaching +40% Toxin with base drain 4, but it is explicitly incompatible with the standard version. Accelerated Blast adds Fire Rate and Puncture, while Amalgam Shotgun Barrage adds Fire Rate and Revive Speed; those do not supply the same Toxin effect.
