Understand Adarza Kavat
Useful when…
- Supporting nearby allies with periodic critical-chance increases.
- Adding a chance to reflect damage back at attackers.
What its precepts do
With Cat’s Eye equipped, the Adarza grants allies within range increased critical chance at intervals. At maximum rank, the bonus is 60% for 10 seconds to allies within 25 meters, every 20 seconds; at rank 0, it is 15% for 4 seconds within 15 meters, every 50 seconds. Reflect is a separate compatible precept: at maximum rank, it has a 40% chance to return damage to an enemy, amplifying it by 60%. At rank 0, the chance is 10% and amplification is 15%. Equip the relevant precept to get its effect.
When to use it
Cat’s Eye is the more directly supportive choice when allies can stay within its radius and benefit from the timed critical-chance window. Reflect can add reactive damage when the Kavat is attacked, but its chance-based trigger means it is not a guaranteed response to every hit. The listed base stats are 310 health, 270 shields, and 300 armor.
Alternatives and tradeoffs
For a different kind of support, Vasca Kavat is described as able to transfuse life to extend its own health and its master’s. Sahasa Kubrow is described as locating supplies while fighting, and Sunika Kubrow as a combat-focused Kubrow. These descriptions point to different roles; they do not establish that those pets provide Adarza’s critical-chance or reflection effects.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Cat’s Eye’s benefit is timed and applies only to allies within range.
- Reflect is chance-based and requires its own equipped precept.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming Cat’s Eye or Reflect is active without equipping that precept.
- Treating Reflect’s chance-based effect as a response to every attack.
- Ignoring Cat’s Eye’s range and duration when allies move apart.
