Understand Bronco
Useful when…
- Firing at close targets where the short falloff range is manageable.
- Using a one-handed shotgun sidearm without projectile travel time.
Attack and effective distance
The Normal Attack is semi-automatic and hitscan, with seven listed multishot pellets. Its per-pellet damage profile is 33.6 Impact, 4.2 Slash, and 4.2 Puncture, with 6% critical chance, a 2× critical multiplier, and 9.43% status chance. Falloff starts at 7 meters and ends at 14 meters with a 75% reduction, so the weapon is most suited to very close targets. Its 3.7 listed accuracy reinforces the need to work within its intended short range.
Reload rhythm and Incarnon profile
Bronco holds two rounds and reloads in 1.05 seconds. It has no listed polarity, requires no Mastery Rank, and its base fire rate is 4. The Incarnon Form is separate: 2.5 attack speed, 20% critical chance, 3× critical multiplier, 18.86% status chance, and its own falloff from 14 to 28 meters with a 54.55% reduction.
Alternatives for a different firing rhythm
Bronco Prime has four rounds per magazine and a lower fire rate according to its description, though it retains a shotgun-sidearm role. Cyanex is a fully automatic homing projectile pistol with an alternate burst, while Kuva Brakk is a semi-automatic hand cannon whose described variant has a larger magazine and faster reload. Those are different tradeoffs, not evidence that one is a universal replacement.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The two-round magazine and short 7–14 meter falloff window make frequent close-range reload management necessary.
- Normal and Incarnon attack profiles have distinct stats and falloff.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not use the Incarnon Form’s 14–28 meter falloff as the Normal Attack’s range profile.
- Do not overlook the two-round magazine when planning sustained fire.
